CC1-1&2: Substitution-ciphers
CC1-1: Caesar-Cipher

The use of this crypto-system dates back to the time of the roman empire and can still be used to demonstrate some really basic functions of cryptography.

Schwierigkeitsgrad: 1 | 1.3 Benötigte Zeit ca. --

CC1-2: Monographic substitution

Simmilar to the Caesar-Cipher this cryptosystem introduces random elements to increase security.

Schwierigkeitsgrad: 1 | 2.0 Benötigte Zeit ca. --

CC1-3: Colums transpostition
This cryptosystem is based on another form of cleartext manipulation that shifts cleartext colums in random order.
Schwierigkeitsgrad: 2 | 2.7 Benötigte Zeit ca. --

CC1-4: One-Time-Pads
One-Time-Pads are one of the few proven-secure cryptosystems, but only if they´re used in the correct manner. Incorrect use like in this example seriously weakens the systems security.
